Charities Supported

The Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance

The Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance is a dedicated medical air service which first began operations in Lincolnshire in April 1994.

Based at RAF Waddington, south of Lincoln, and unaffected by road congestion, country roads, heavy vehicles or road works the Helicopter can reach any destination in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire in 19 minutes.

In the UK there are eighteen dedicated Air Ambulance operations and all are reliant upon charitable support. An Air Ambulance provides an important and sometimes vital additional patient care service for our most critically ill and injured patients.

Registered Charity No. 1066992

Secretary: Michael Moss, 11b,Suttons Lane, Deeping Gate, Peterborough, PE6 9M Tel 01778 342037

The Deeping Men's Group is a local organisation run by volunteers for the Deepings area community. We loan out wheelchairs and other medical aid equipment. This service is free of charge and open to all who live within the catchment area of the Deepings Health Centre.

We have a fleet of over 75 wheelchairs, battery powered wheelchairs/scooters, recliners, bath-lifts and other 'medical aids' such as walking frames and commodes. To help as many people as possible loans are usually for three months only, because demand is so high. This gives people time to obtain equipment from social Services if needed on a long-term basis.
